jacob1 cracked servers below 1.8 you just need to change the online_mode in the server.properties to false. Also for logging in you need a plug-in
I prefer tech, like TPPI2 ;), havent died yet and already getting prepared for a digital miner.
A cracked server is when the online-mode is set to false. (aka people who have not bought the game can join)
EDIT1: well this puts this to a whole new level: https://twitter.com/notch/status/157261795139125248
P.S.
im cracked :P
Ok, the storyline on this server is this:
During the 15th MC century, an explorer discovers a mysterious, foggy island, and for some reason, all the people who lived on that island were slightly transparent, and when they moved, they made a strange onionskin effect. Even though these people looked quite menacing, they were very friendly towards the explorer. They told him that they were only half human and half ghost, and they called each other 'spectres', people who accidently (and sometimes purposely) fused with undead creatures, and something in their minds attracted them to the island. The king of the island, known as Overworld, constructed a huge castle/village thingy made mostly out of iron. He let the explorer stay in a villa near his mysterious 'realm room', which I will tell you about soon. The explorer invited his wife and his 2 daughters to stay in the villa as well.
When he and his family stayed there for the night, someone sneaked into his villa. This person was NOT a spectre, but thats all you know about the person just now. He asssassinated the explorer's wife and daughters with what appeared to be an ice weapon of a sort (we know this because their bloody corpses were covered in ice. When he saw his family, covered in blood and snap frozen in ice, he was furious. He blamed the king for their murder, and even attempted to kill him. He completely underestimated Overworld's power, and never even managed to unsheathe his sword to attack him, as Overworld had him in his telekinetic grasp. He launched him off the island, and the explorer crashed into his home (luckily, his roof was coated in water).
He told his friends, relatives and even some random strangers about this, and a rumour was created. Many, many people were told the story, and eventually, someone who was a member of a strange cult known as the Necromancer Dawn. The people in the cult were, of course, necromancers, and were unsurprisingly intrigued by the story. The leader of the Necromancer Dawn, an incredibly powerful destruction mage known as The Necro-Lord, sent the necromancers out to find the explorer in the story they were told. 4 days later, a necromancer called Destructo came to the Necro-Lord with the explorer, who was tied up. He did not need much persuation for him to show the necromancers the location of the 'Spectre Island', so they set sail about 5 minutes after he was brought to the Necro-Lord. When they arrived, the Necro-lord gave the Necromancers lots of money, so they could bribe the guards patrolling the castle to let them pass. The Necro-Lord also bribed the leader of the spectre military to tell him where he could find Overworld, and after an awkward conversation between them, the military leader took him to the realm room. When the Necro-Lord met Overworld for the first time, they had a chat about how the Spectres managed to fuse with undead. Overworld told him that they fused when a part of the undead (like a drop of blood, skin or flesh) went into their body through a cut. The Necro-Lord then asked Overworld if they could do some experiments on some of the Spectres (quite gruesome ones), and Overworld refused. The Necro-Lord was furious, but he pretended not to be until he left the island, which was as soon as Overworld said that he would not allow the Necromancers experiment with his people. He went back to the necromancy hideout, and discussed with the Necromancers what they should do. Some said that they could just capture one spectre every night, but the Necro-Lord said that getting caught doing so could give away their secret hideout location. Some said that they should just leave them alone and go back to their normal buisness, but the Necro-Lord said that it is not easy to just walk away from a case like this. They had many different opinions, but finally, one of them said they should wage war with the spectres until they allowed them to experiment on them. The Necro-Lord, unfortunetly, said that it was a marvellous idea. The story continues in-game.
You have the choice to either join the Necromancers in their attempt to get the Spectres to allow them to experiment on them, or help the Spectres defend their island.
If you choose to join the Necromancers, monsters behave less aggresively towards you.
If you choose to join the Spectres, you have the power to summon a Spectre once every 30 minutes.
