I fail to see how. I helped build a comp in TPT, and I don't care at all if someone does it in lua. It would actually be kind of awesome.

actually, "not everyone knows lua" is a reason I don't want this. learning lua can't really be compared to learning a mouse and keyboard, because if you are using a computer you are just expected to know that. When learning tpt you are expected to know how to draw elements, how to make saves, how some reactions work, but most people aren't expected to learn the console, so most don't. A lot do know how to use !set , but very few know lua.

If everyone has to know lua to make awesome saves, then the game because too hard to learn. People would be confused when the very strange things you can do with lua start happening too, you can do almost anything and break as many normal controls as you want.

Maybe you should add it to your mod? :3

you can embed lua code in saves already, actually. It's not something like CMND, but you can make it act like one easily, you can do almost anything from a lua script.

Edit: I still will probably add CMND eventually, but it might only do !set commands. Full lua can be done the other way, you can't really embed strings in an element.

I tought there was no limits when it comes to coding. And I don't think this case is different.

Yes, there're no limits if dev.s work hard on it.

My 1st reason isn't the main reason, it just says that it would be hard to code and has a larger chance to fail to be implemented. (Or at least the author has to wait longer than any other suggestions. 1 year of waiting before implemented is possible for normal ones)

how come all you guys are talking about  lua......they don't need to know everything......if they want, they can go to feynman's guide to lua, but you only need to know basic commands for the most part like !set temp and stuff.....oh oops.....jacob1 already handled it.....necro this comment then? P.S. Why is it called necroing and not deleting? something to do with sorcerers that summon undead? :L

Necroting a thread: Posting on a thread after many time has been passed, with no apparent reason.

What you want to do is asking for comment deletion. And you could just edit it away
