Perhaps you could lead by example and implement some suggestions. I eagerly await some pull requests from you. There is nothing to stop you, or anyone else for that matter, from doing some development work.

If your suggestion hasn't been added yet, insults won't do anything to help change that.

In my case, if I feel inclined to work on Powder Toy, I tend to work on my own little fork, because some aspects of the official version went a bit horrendous during the C++ rewrite. However, on Saturday I did fix a crash freeze in the official version that has been around for 3 months.

Now, back on topic if you would be so kind...

there are too many suggestions to reject them all, and I feel bad doing it. EXFM is probably accepted though.

Also i'm similar to jacksonmj in that I like to work on my own mod, for similar reasons about tpt++, and also I have full control over it and can do whatever I want, whereas in official I should probably ask Simon before doing anything really major like redoing the build system, mass renaming and reorganizing the source, etc.
I just renamed everything in my mod to .cpp and copied jacksonmj's nice element adding system for example (one DEFINE_ELEMENT(DUST, 1) vs. a bunch of //TPT_directives and generator.py), huge huge change
