*sigh*
Well, let's break down your second sentence...
"I don't see uses..." -_- ...honestly?
"...and finding things spill out would be annoying." Well, if you would just read the second paragraph and the 1st rule of plane changing in my lengthy explanation, it might explain a few things.
EDIT:
Thank you randalserrano.
Also, '*2' of my original explanation pairs well with your post.
1. I see you still haven't read the second paragraph of my first post...
2. I honestly don't understand the first section of your post; no offense, even if that section was to offend me.
3. This is the 'Feedback' disussion; "Discuss gameplay ideas that you would like to see in future versions of the Powder Toy".
EDIT:
I just took a look a Jacob1's Tabs.
It's not like my idea. The closest they ever come to being similar is if the option of separate planes in my idea was on.
I would like this to be implemented, but I think it would only be good if only portal and wifi and stuff like that are the only links between planes.
So, this was the April Fools Joke? Wow, it's HILARIOUS!
Seriously though, how'd they do that? And can they change it back? It's funny, but it would be a shame if it stayed like that.
EDIT:
Oh...
Um, how is it not 'new'; as you put it? (That sounds snide, I know, but its a honest question.)
Also, why is jacob1's mod relevent? What it does (in terms of tabs) isn't even half-baked to what I'm proposing. Each plane is connected by a set of rules (undecided; as it seems). You know, to even better distinquish it, you could think of it as a 3D sim., with the view and user interface 2D; possible by splitting up the the sim. into planes of definite depth (1 in front of 2; 3 behind 2, etc.). (My god, I'm sounding so snide and offensive today...)
EDIT: Actually, that might be a better way to explain it...
