I was aware that the thread was old. Maybe I am wrong to point this out again but a little bit of resources (money) would help tpt in my opinion.
You probably know that a game like "the Sandbox" got sold a couple million times and it is a kids simulation compared to tpt.
I also don't get why tpt has not even 10k followers on facebook.
tpt should be #1 and not "the Sandbox" .... if I was an alien then I would probably just shake my head and move on to a smarter planet... ;)
Say, jacob1, what is your job?
Cool.
I used to experiment a lot with the software "Framsticks" and wrote some scripts (an ebb and flood script for example) and I think it is good the way they do the finances. You can download Framsticks for free but if you want fancy graphics then you have to pay 20$.Students can get it cheaper.
(I highly recommend Framsticks btw)
I am pretty sure that putting a fancy looking tpt version on Steam would be a success. There is nothing like it on steam (forget about "the sandbox") and I am sure there would be a large community soon with lots of scripting going on.
I could help with some graphics for free but I am not always reliable because of my epilepsy... I don't even start the computer on bad days.
I think it really honors you all a lot that you don't want to make money with tpt.I respect that!
But you would do humanity a favor and make a million $ with it if you get it on steam somehow!
Think about all the ways tpt could be used in schools! ( if I would have been able to use tpt in school in the 80s I probably would have enjoyed my time and learned something ;) )
