It's mainly because those elements have been stigmatized by n00bs suggesting it for the sole purpose of realism.

@code1949 Realism is nice, but TPT is fine with its pseudo-realistic interactions. I think it's necessary to stretch the realism of certain things in order to make them more useful, while still having a favorable level of realism involved.
I suggested these elements because I thought they would fill in some of the missing links for certain things to work. Like for making batteries, for example. BTRY is nice, but it does lack realism. While it does save space, it also supplies an infinite amount of energy from no source at all. But I didn't come up with these elements just to add realism. I added them because I thought their interactions would prove useful and would (Ideally) be added to later versions of TPT, but I did not expect ALL of them to make the cut.

I nearly choked on my post-dinner snackage, a new person that has the brain and ability to reason like a normal human, don't get a whole lot of that around here. On to the suggestions; I think some of them have good potential, maybe some further refinement is required for a couple but this is a decent list of suggestions, well done for your imagination. Have a cookie good sir. On another note, did anyone else think of Spongebob saying "immmaaaaggggiiinnnation" whenever someone said "use your imagination"?

It's honestly better to pretend that realism is only important for enacting Rule of Cool.

if we still have the element suggestion guidelines, that should be added.

@el-midgeto (View Post) lol thanks. And that's the mental image I get every time I hear somebody say that! xD

I'm no expert, but I'll try to fine-tune my list to the best of my ability. Does anybody have any suggestions?

That's not what I meant, most of the time they are suggested, no properties are even mentioned and the only reason provided is for realism. Nobody can code elements based off something that vague.

Personally, I believe preventing people from suggesting previously suggested elements is wrong because the suggestion may be different to what was suggested in the past.

@code1949 (View Post) Oh, well then I agree with you there. TUNG is an example of this, mainly being posted by people who know nothing about it other than the fact that it's in light bulbs.

I'm in the process of making this list more detailed/useful and I will edit the main post when I'm finished. (:

Actually, I think one person who suggested it didn't even know it was used in lightbulbs.

I thought of some more elements last night that could have some uses, but I'm still figuring out how to get them TPT compliant. I'll add them to the main post after I finish editing the ones already there. EDIT: Can I add new elements to this, or do I have to make a new post? The title would have to be changed, and I "THINK" only mods can do that. Does anyone know?

PS: What's the coffee mug on this post for?
