@jacksonmj(View Post) I guess I forgot about those. Someone else told me I needed to remove them a while ago, but I haven't yet. Also, if you know what any other errors are, tell me so I can fix them too. I know I use max & min instead of fmax & fmin in at least one spot, and that causes errors for some people, so I'll fix that too.
@jacob1(View Post) The error I got was : You can't use this version of the application Jacobs1's Powder Toy with this version of Mac OS X You have Mac OS X 10.6.8. The applcation requires Mac OS X 10.7 or later.
@_kinloch_(View Post) That error explains itself, it must have been compiled in 10.7, and can't run in earlier versions or something. I'm not sure why that would happen, because Simon should have compiled it in the same way as the normal powder toy which can run on that version of Mac OS X. Maybe try using a newer or different computer, if you can.
Simon, could you compile it for Linux too? All good mods are either abandoned or just don't have linux versions (and I can't get them to work, due to some strange syntax error - no lack of library or something like that, just missing brackets or semicolons or in some cases undefined variables - gcc can be very strict)
@jacob1 Honestly, I think this is one of the best mods in TPT. That BALL element really amazed me! Keep up the great work! @darkhog(View Post) The Distiller's Mod v1.00 is available for Linux.
@Fast-Driver(View Post) After about a month of not working on this, I have tons of new ideas I've been waiting to put into this. One of the first things is creating a way to make completely custom elements with lua easily without needing to replace existing ones. I also do plan to improve BALL and make it solid inside, and also allow custom shaped moving solids (which is possible now with shift clicking I think)
@darkhog(View Post) He compiled the mac version for himself to use and test, i'm not sure if he will spend the time to compile it for linux too. I really hope he does though, or maybe someone else. If someone else compiles a linux version, I would try making one of their ideas / new elements as a reward.
@jacob1(View Post) I cant use a better computer as the one I tried it on was the most up to date out of the ones I have. so I wont be able to use it :( (anless anyone can direct me to a good tutorial for compiling it on a mac.)
Version 15 - 5/22/12 Fix some deco editor bugs. Element descriptions fade in and out nicely.Fixes to the old menu, the favorites menu is always drawn on bottom when using that. Ability to make custom lua graphics functions. Fix glitch in HUD (life wouldn't show up). You can scroll through comments on saves, but only 10 at most are able to show up. User ID's are now drawn on comments. You can write in color now. Use Ctrl + one of these letters: w (white), g (grey), o (orange), r (red), l (red-orange), b (blue), and t (light blue). Colors can go in comments, tags, and save names, and be seen by all tpt users. They can't go in signs or local saves names (colors are removed). Update to 79.2 source.
I have continued work on this mod again (obviously). I am also planning on making another pull request to get even more mod stuff in the official version soon. I'm still trying to figure out which things.
