What's up with the disasters? Did they suddently stop?

Yeah we need a disaster.
DISASTER STRIKES!
(Why? BECAUSE I SAY SO. Anyone who disagrees will be shot! Multiple times!)
It is said that smallpox or the plague would come back to kill humanity now that most medicine has gone the way of the dinosaur. In most nations that are just developing, illness is the leading cause of death, in areas in S. America and Africa viruses have mutated and evolved to survive the irradiated climate and most herbal medicens. what is supposed to be a breed of the deadly Zebov strain of Ebola and Typhus is beggining to spread across most of Africa and some areas of un-harmed Australia and Europe. Many people in Zylit, BMN Australia, the A.H.C., the Nalanist Nations and other nations throughout these regions begin to fall ill with fever, vomiting and wheezing for a few days before dropping dead from organ failure. Luckly the virus has yet to evolve any sort of airbourne transmition abilities, however, its extrodinary mutation patterns mean that a cure will certantly be hard to make... Time is ticking comrades.

After news that the disease spread to the A.H.C. arrived, the government issued a quarantine on ALL major cities (Jerusalem, Dubai, Al Rhyiad, Tehran etc.) even if they are infected or not. At the Tehran University of Medical Sciences, work on a new vaccine has already begun, however due to the stunning mutation patterns of the virus, it is unknown when the vaccine will be made.
The General Security Branch has opened many new clinics and hospitals throughout the Arabian Peninsula, fueled by aid workers from around the Commonwealth to help deal with the dire situation. Some aid convoys are sent to the Zylit to help remedy the situtation.
Romania and Bulgaria, due to their colder climate, are virtualy safe from the virus, so all major institutions move their HQ to cities in Romaina. The Bosfor and Dardanele Striaghts are under total lockdown. The A.H.C. begins to open new public schools in those regions to educate the population on how to deal with the current outbreak. Antibiotics are virtaully useless against the virus and the body's immune system and liver are the first things attacked, leading to the body being left completly unprotected during the rest of the infection, says some autopsies.
