Upon arriving in Iceland, the aforementioned boat is welcomed and shown the extent of the Republic, and promptly sent back to its home country.
Nuclear reactors have been successfully deployed in a few test cities. By processing the waste produced by those reactors, the Republic has successfully built several plutonium nuclear missiles with a range of roughly 5000 km.
-BMN Aussies begin research upon possibly sending a man to the moon. (How cool is that?!!)
The Great wall of Australia is almost done! (All that's left is the diagonal line between BMN Aussie and the French/african/English republic territory.) 2 More months!
Upon their arrival in Constanta, the explorers found out that Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary weren't directly hit by any nukes, but what actually bought their death was the winds pushing the radiation from Germany, France and Great Britain towards them, winds which were stopped by the Carpathian mountains, meaning the Moldova, Walachia and some of Northern Bulgaria were left unharmed by the nuclear radiation. Upon reaching Port Constanta, romanian citizens, upon hearing the name Anti-Hitler Commonwealth, they immidiatly joined us, after seeing in what chaos Hitler has plunged the world in. Now my Nation holds Moldova and Wallachia. (yay!)
The expediton fores that went to Mexico, upon reaching their goal, were immidiatly attacked by natives, who were unhappy about us intrupting their lives. They team was forced to retreat to Cuba, where they found a handfull of tribes, that allowed them to create a base there.
The A.H.C. accepts the alliance offer from the Zylit and offers an Alliance to BMN and Iceland.
Although the A.H.C. is having peaceful relations with the Zylit currently, a close eye will be kept on their new space station, since the A.H.C. is unwilling to be caught off guard by the Zylit yet again, like they did in the first war.
Not wishing to be left behind on a space-race with BMN and the Zylit, the A.H. Commonwealth begins work on a lunar rover, dubbed project "Cannon". The rover is launched from a pad somewhere outside of Tehran and its launch and landing are pretty much the same as the probe launched a few months ago. The rover will survey the lunar landscape and make sure the the Moon will NOT be used for the storage of any WMDs. Plans for a manned lunar landing are currently being debated.
After a few months of research, scientists have made the first ever photovoltaic cell (AKA the solar panel). It was planted on the lunar rover along with a couple locations throughout Persia and the Arabian Peninsula, as backup generators for power, in case any major power-plant malfunctions.
Guys please keep in mind that Kydon DID say not to go anywhere past the moon. In saying that, please be specific when you say "Launching into Space"
Also, @Kikkin (View Post), I don't think you're being realistic here... It takes several months to produce and send an enormous space station like such and I don't think anyone else read in any earlier posts that you were constructing one. Especially creating silos on it... Anyone else testify?
BMN Started construction of a large space shuttle designed to harbor trasportation for their other constuction project, their very own space station!
Both these projects will take about 3 months to completely constuct.
