1. The A.H.C. launches a small probe towards the Moon. It uses a Russian Proton rocket design for its main launch stage, then, upon leaving Earth's atmosphere, its fairings will detach and reveal the probe. It carries instruments that will be able to survey the Moon from orbit and from the ground, along with technologies to allow for the scan of temperatures, siesmic and vulcanic activity and wether or not the Moon is actually made out of cheese. It also carries to small weights that it will detach while in orbit and place them on a colision course, then once the probe lands and the weights hit th ground, it will be able to record Lunar siesmic activity. The probe's launch could be easily comparable with Luna 9, from our timeline.

2. A.H. researchers in Istanbul begin to theorise usings the Sun's energy for our benefits. They hope to create some sort of device that will be able to take the energy of the light emmited by our closest neighbouring star, our Sun. The new device will be called something along the lines of Photovoltaic Cells or some other junk, but due to its design, the staff just agreed to call them "Solar Panels". They are expected to be done in around 4 months.

3. The Indutrials Branch of the A.H. homeland branch will anounce the opening of the first ever cold-fusion reactor of the A.H. Commonwealth, and possibly the world. It will be created somewhere in Persia, far away enough to make sure that a melt-down won't cause much harm to the inhabitants of any major population centre.

The Feynman Republic has spread throughout most of Iceland. Nuclear energy research is beginning, and within about a year, the Republic hopes to have a functioning fusion cell reactor working.

The A.H. Commonwealth prepares 3 more expeditions.  A boat filled with about 50 people will reach Romania's Black Sea coast, roughly reaching port Constanta.

Another boat with 100 people will reach Iceland.

Another boat with roughly 100 people will reach Mexico.
