I am half from France and half from Caribbean (and from there, there is african, caraibe indian and white origins).
We made our family tree. And in France, we discovered a strange thing. On my grand ma side, they are called Sainmont. But if you follow the Sainmont family, between 1690 and 1720, they change name. Before they were called Saymon. And if you dig deeper, you find that one Saymon was married with a lady called Jenne Abraham about 75 years before. So Abraham, Saymon/Simon... I think I might have some jewish ancestors.
But long........... long................ ago.... Now, I am more an africanized frenchman.
@The-Con No no. Happy, your ancestors got saved from a massacre. / Halloween is hard to say to have been invented by anyone specifically. It started as All Soul's Day, then turned to All Saint's Day(irony to me), then became largely a hybrid of many different traditions, then got commercialized by the modern population. All Soul's Day was adopted by the Catholic church in the middle ages, where they believed souls from purgatory showed themselves as wisp like beings. But basically, to everyone from Irish immigrants landing on the shores of North America way back when, to modern children all over the world, it is a holiday.
@cctvdude99 I am a part of the usa and i cant explain why are goverment is so secret maybe they are always in these wars because we know we can kick *** maybe?
America is an odd country... Yes, they are secretive and it is possible that they are far more OR even less powerfull than they say. It is estimated that between Russia and America, there are 22000 nuclear bombs, many times the strength of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima ( it was called "little man" and the other dropped elswhere was " fat boy") @shroom207 Your teacher is very judgmental... I am Christian, but I would not like it if a Jewish person said that I was going to hell. I think the teachers are trying to scare you away from other religions, just as my teachers did. The bible may say things such as do not worship other gods, but keep in mind that a lot of the "Gods" are very similar, and could be the result of religous isolation, creating situations where religions develop differently after a certain point. and if Purim is a happy celebration then Yay ( cheering in the background) Have a happy Purim again...
