How to make TPT run faster, possibly by source mod?

It doesn't use any RAM when it's not running if you disable anything it puts on startup if that's what your asking, Otherwise it's about 12 cents of hard drive space for visual c++ 2010 express thankfully :p -

VC++ 2010 shouldn't be more than 4 GB. Don't quote me on that though, I haven't used the Express editions of 2010 yet only VS 2010 Professional.
There should be settings on spybot and mcafee to change when they scan. A full system scan once a week is usually enough.
