it says the applacation configureation is incorect. re-instaling this program may fix the problem. (it wont help me, and none of the things above do either ). can any 1 help me?

What version of windows are you on?

just to recap you have:

1. re downloaded and installed TPT
3. Tried running the game as admin
3. have installed the url=http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=9b2da534-3e03-4391-8a4d- 074b9f2bc1bf&displaylang=en]VCC redistributable[/url]
4. put the above manifest file in the folder
5. ran the standard file (not SSE2)

yes, all of that... apart of the admin thingy...

urm... im on windows XP, its got a lot of updated parts in it though (may not make any difference).
