    Photons of different colors travel at different angles in relation with each other. The second prism magnifies the differences, and the PSCN/NSCN arrangement at the end is connected to the scale.

    Whatever is in the diamond box heats up the diamond, which heats up the filters, which then changes the color of the photons.

    And yes, though it's a bit funky as far as accuracy. The least I can say is that all the different colors are from top to bottom and don't overlap due to angles. I need to add a temperature scale for each bar of metal, or some kind of thermometer shape with colors.
