i used (pscn)aray of tempuratures incrimenting +2 each pixel with tsns to get base 5000 encoded data. tsns can tell the difference between just one degree (maybe less even) so base10,000 encoded pixels are possible. its not very elegant, or small and i dont know how to use it myself but there you go. its in my graveyard if you want to have a look-see id:1343337.
I'm working on a device right now that can read binary inputs and set a pixel to that exact temperature by using the property that the average of two pixels in direct contact average out. Before it's done I got some math to do...
Done, so here's a working prototype
right when i finish reverse-engineering your Bin->Dec as well, the only thing i really changed was i got rid of the cray(sprk). i wanted to get rid of the wall but it doesnt seem possible.(oh well its still beautiful.) id:1410219
ill study your device and its workings now.
It's possible to get rid of the wall I just made an update. I'll have to do a little bit of advertisement here:
I have successfully just built a machine to multiply a 28 bit binary number by a power of 2 in one pixel only.
It's in the beta though, so I can't link you....
Edit: Oops...
I have made a lot of progress with qubit kind of technology in the powder toy unlike anything else I've ever seen anybody post. it's in beta at the moment but I can tell you that it could change a lot of things we know about code in general all I can say for now is that I am looking for people to help me build a software and if your interested let me know I also discovered An Occurrence that I believe to be quantum entanglement or something of the sort... But it's something I need to discuss this with my colleagues first I apologize I can't really go into much detail right now but I can say that everybody who is trying to find Quantum properties in The Powder Toy, that it is definitely possible, also I have found the clockwise and counterclockwise spin of a photon/ energy particles which I will be releasing soon.
