The powder toy website doesn't distribute 64-bit for windows so wolfy1339 did it himself, but it's basically official tpt

I will just use this version over the official as it runs faster, just hope it updates as frequent as the official version.

Even if he had modified the source the GPL says that you don't expressly have to include the source in the distribution of the executable. You don't even have to provide it at the moment of release. What is needed however is information on how to get the source code.

probably it only runs faster because it was compiled with gcc on windows, and not cross compiled off on some server far away ... I tested 32 bit / 64 bit differences by compiling both myself and comparing, and I didn't notice any speed improvements at all.

well ... ok, I already said he didn't need the source, he basically said he didn't change it and it's directly off the repo, so he said to go there to get it. And yes that is true technically.

Does powdertoy use a build server?

I was under the impression that simon or some developer built the versions themselves?

TPT uses an internal build server to provide SOME binaries,
then there's mniip's build service which built latest every so often,
there used to also be buildserv but that's down...

     No changes were made....

It is only a 64-bit compile of the TPT Github...

Please move this thread into a more appropriate section....
