    make your own mod or something, but realistically there's no way this is going into the game

    @JMBuilder

    dont forget some other important facts about helium, it conducts heat several hundred times that of copper and conducts heat greater than any other gas besides hydrogen and does not burn, so that you could use it in reactors as the main heating element, because helium actually heats up when it can expand freely

    helium's diffusion rate through solids is 3 times that of air

    it has the least water solubility of any gas

    when cooled to absolute zero, will remain in liquid form at normal pressures, but freezes solid with 363 psi

    when frozen, it is so hard to see that scientists place styrofoam pellets in with it to see the surface, basically meaning that solid helium is “invisible”, among many other things

    I didn't really read it because there are so many suggestions, but I will say this

    @Potbelly (View Post)
    I feel like we have become more picky. You can even tell by looking at the code back then, changes were ugly and often done wrong, there were more bugs in general, and nothing was really finalized. A lot of those elements were done for cracker64's mod, which was simply merged right into tpt. We don't do that anymore. (although I can only wish the same would be done for my mod ): )
    Now we have all of the reactions done, things changed are usually done right, and new elements have to do a lot of new things not possible before. And then of course, most importantly, you have to get someone to want to spend the time to make the element, which is the main reason most suggestions are ignored unless they are really good.
