If you do a search, you will see that sound has been suggested a ton of times, and you'll see why its been rejected a ton of times.

    what makes your's different?

also, poorsoft, you gotta remember that there will be sound spam saves...

Everyone who is laughing at @Box-Poorsoft, There have been plenty of elements that have been suggested very numerous times before and rejected. It doesn't mean that another person can't suggest it in a diffetent way later to where it would make a bit of sense and be fun in the game. Take for example PSTN, In my opinion, it is a moving solid. How many times have moving solids been suggested and shot down in flames? Then there was PVOD, PPIP, PCLN, etc. The list goes on and on. As far as sound goes, It would be hard to implement of course, but think of the uses. If for instance you wanted to implement an alarm for you reactor if it goes critical or if you wanted to make a game that has to do with music. I know it has been rejected a lot but it doesnt have to be flamed and shot down so badly to where people are laughing at a respective user.

He has a point you know, you regulars are so grouchy and unaccepting of old ideas with a different tune.

You need to change your perspective on everything, who cares if the last dozen people had bad ideas, the next one is always different, tommorow is always a new day.

That is exactly what I do. That is part of the reason why a lot of the elements I have suggested are in tpt. One of the main ones that I had a huge flame war with was MERC. (The thread got deleted it was so bad) I decided to make a mod to see if I could make MERC myself and submitted it to Simon. It got polished and implemented soon after because it was different from DEUT and is one of the heaviest liquids TPT has. The next element I helped implement was PVOD. I decided VOID needed to be improved so I changed the code for VOID so if you sparked it with PSCN, it would work like normal, NSCN would shut it off. But in my mod, it was just an improvement to VOID. Not a whole new element. I didn't even have it change color when powered. I was also the one who suggested PPIP. I had stopped modding since TPTPP came out because of all of the changes in the code. The point is, if someone suggests something and it keeps on getting shot down, se if you can make it yourself and show people why it would be good. If you can't do that, then ask someone who can. I had a lot of help with my mods (Me4502 and Vanquish349) If all else fails, then do what you are doing now. Eventually, there will either be a person out there who is willing to mod it for you, or the suggestion is awesome enough to actually get implemented. Either way, it is a win win. :)
