Something doesn't look right there, why is your 'src' folder in the 'build' directory already, nothing source related should be in the build folder.

That is the way that it builds itself. The files are unmodified and comes from github. I forked from the newest FacialTurd build.

After running scons (without modifying the compile or anything) the build directory contains "/data" (icondoc.h), "/generated" (empty), SConscript, and "/src"(cajun, client, Config.h, Format.cpp, Format.h, Format.o, game, graphics, interface, Misc.cpp, Misc.h, Misc.o, PowderToyRenderer.cpp, simulation, Singleton.h)

Well, after all this scampering within and without -- it compiled. I cloned jacob1's fork from github again and for some unknown reason it took this time. Either the original clone was corrupted in transfer, one of the libraries I reinstalled took, or the Moon Men of Mars -- seeing the greatness of the human spirit -- took pity on mankind; Who knows?

Thanks for all the help, suggestions, and tolerance. Hopefully one-day I will be able to figure out what was going on.
