There is no scale in powder toy. More fire only slows an explosion in this game down due to its drag on the air. =/

What if pressure is added( I do not know much of how the game works.).And its some sort of binary that takes high pressure to explode.

That is what Im talking about cyber, its binary explosives thats made out of aluminum oxide and something else. They use it for exploding gas tanks in movies and stuff because it takes a high caliber bullet to set it off.

erm correct me if I'm wrong but there is pressure in the game all ready or do i have some sort of misconception here?

I haven't tried making an explosive with more fire and pressure, but Catelite might be right. You really can't make explosives too much more powerful. I was helping @jombo23 add more smoke to the burning effect of his rubber element, and the extra smoke wasn't really noticeable. Stacking is needed to allow more (or, I guess Catelite's idea she told me once to combine things like DEUT). Pressure I guess could be made to be maxed out... that might make it a little stronger.

But, this explosion in the first post sounds a lot like fusion. That is one of the most powerful explosions in the game, mostly because it persists for longer times than other explosives. It sounds like this one does too. Mods are great for more explosives though, and if this idea turns out to be better and more useful than it seems, it could always be added (if it is)

Well, could you put the fire of c4 in tnt to combine them. I thought it would make a cooler effect when it exploded. I understand how explosions do not really contain fire if they are high speed in real life, but what if it was more of a slow (ripping or tearing explosion) like sort of a tnt/c4 compound. The explosion sends out a shockwave and then a frame later produces a lot of smoke and fire. It would look cooler and be more effective in blowing up cities for a cool effect because it would give a burning effect and demolition effect. It would be better for blowing up powder cities and such. I don't think that it should be too hot though.

Seems like a good idea, considering the fact that the conventional explosives in TPT are ridiculously weak for some reason, we need a stable (ie: not THDR or DEST) high pressure/high temperature non-nuclear explosive. Making relatively realistic nuclear weapons would actually be rewarding. Having a ton of extra fire/smoke isn't really needed, it just needs to release a much higher amount of heat/pressure than any of the other conventional explosives.

Off topic: I remember someone had made a mod a while back that allowed you to set the destructive force of bombs using CEXP or some other element. Would be good if it were added to the official TPT++.

I don't really see where any of the explosives in the game aren't freakishly powerful. Blame people for not building their machines out of plant. :P

Well, tnt should be able to break iron in small numbers but it doesn't. Thats why I said this should be more powerful but should act like an actual explosive unlike dmg.
