I'm living in Barbourville, Ky. The hurricane hasn't affected us too much but we have gotten rain and wind from it which sucks for me personally since I'm on the cross country team (we practice unless it's lightning). Both today and yesterday I ran like 4-5 mi when it's cold (39 degrees Fahrenheit or below), wet (luckily both times was after the rain quit although it did sprinkle some), and windy (light wind with short spurts of heavy wind). And that's 4-5 miles a day, not altogether. Gotta love running!

I'm in Arizona. So far, the worst from the hurricane is a slight temperature change... Yeah, not much happens here. I hope for the best for those with an ocean to worry about.

Anyways, just heard from RT (RussiaToday)

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says all mass transit fares will be suspended Thursday and Friday – making the subway, bus and commuter rail free. “I am declaring a transportation emergency and authorizing the MTA to waive fares…through the end of the week, Thursday and Friday,” he said.

Well I live in Sydney and I have been unaffected by all the floods, cyclones and fires recently. However the drought a few years ago was pretty bad.

I hope that nobody gets injured during this hurricane.
