If you want to join Aperture make a different account.

I think that an exception for the group limit is if a group merged with another group. That way there would be easy access to the groups your merged with.

Group owners only though get to have this power

Well, is there a way to make parts of groups "public"? As in, allowing non-members to post and view posts.

    Good idea!! :D
It should be the group owner's option.

I sure hope so, otherwise Aperture will have to have member in every group.
    EDIT: Oops. Wrong account.

The group registration limit isn't the worst thing in the world, if Simon could fix one thing I definitely wouldn't ask for that. Especially since the groups system is extremely broken.

If people could cancel group registration submissions, see inside groups before joining (there should be public forums but only people in the group can post. Maybe optional private threads inside groups too), and make posts with newlines, that would be great.

But yeah the limit isn't really that bad, maybe it could be raised to somewhere between 5 and 10.

imo, having a limit makes the groups you join more meaningful. If you had no limit, it'd be "Ooh, Ill join this one, and this one, and this one,..." and on and on. I would like to be able to cancel group registrations though.
