@Cr15py(View Post) You need to get to the BIOS menu to boot from a disk.
I already configured my BIOS to: 1) try booting CD if failed: 2) try booting Primary HDD if failed: 3) try booting Secondary HDD if failed: 4) load recovery CommandLine if failed: 5) WHATAFUCK???
Looks like we have another linux fan. When you feel comfortable with Ubuntu, try something like linux mint or debian(which i managed to crash many times). Linux Mint is what I'm using now.
I don't like ubuntu anymore. A couple months ago when I used it, it was fine, but it isn't compatible with my current computer, which is only 8 weeks old. The wireless was disabled, and so the internet did not work. Most people could resolve this problem simply by flicking the switch on the side of their laptop... but not... I don't have a switch, i have a button that only works on windows 7, due to toshiba software being the only way to use the buttons... It took me two hours to resolve, after removing ubuntu. The reason why it took so long was because not all of my services were enabled. I had to go into msconfig to enable the service :(
@The-Con(View Post) You don't like it because you bought toshiba which tends to be incompatible with Linux... (I figured that out after installing it on a few friends toshiba laptops). Nice reason =.=.... Anyways, get it a wired connection for a few minutes and use the "additional drivers" program in system administration(i think)
