Because it's difficult. Newtonian gravity runs in a separate thread, but the rest of Powder Toy is a lot harder to split up into separate threads - we haven't worked out how to do it yet.

It's an accepted word, "at least" is more preferred than "atleast". Anyway, both are legal.
