Pressure Wall

Wouldn't a velocity only wall kinda defeat the point? Pressure and velocity are very closely linked, if you create pressure, you get velocity. If you create velocity (eg. WIND tool - check the pressure display), get pressure. So a velocity only wall would defeat the point, as you'd still get pressure from all the air movement, but a pressure and velocity blocking wall wouldn't work, as particles would get stuck.

    Simples, thread solved. :)

    a) we already established that
    b) as i said in my last post you can generate velocity without pressure
    c) we've been discussing ways to have a pressure-blocking-but-allows-velocity wall

EDIT: d) even if we hadnt already said all you said that wouldnt "solve" anything, just tell us we have to keep thinking.....

Prove to me that you can generate velocity without pressure, please.

And in no part of your last post did you say you could generate velocity without pressure.

It'd work if the particle was travelling down, because then it would have gravity to keep it moving, but left, right and most definitely up might have some trouble

What if you used PIPE to convey elements through the wall?

you can check the gravity, even after its off the particles keep going

I probly should of said Particle Wall, because it seems that people keep thinking that moving particles should pass through. <------ NO.<br/>It's no ment for moving particles at all, its ment for electronics. Wifi gets destroyed at a pretty low pressure, so if we Eliminated that pressure, but still allowed the Wifi, metal, instant, and other particles, then we WOULD NOT have to use 8 WALLS to surround a single wifi to protect it from the tremendous pressure just surrounding it.

It's not supposed to be a Velosity Wall, or Pressure Wall (I know the title contridicts), it's supposed to be a Particle Wall - Blocks pressure, Allows Particles - Great for protecting Pressure-Sensitive Things!

I think you all know where i'm getting at. :)

That uses gravity mapping, and a wall would not use gravity. So can you please shut up?
Also, I see no velocity on the velocity display. :P

    Cctvdude:
I heve idea how particles can not get stuck in the wall:
while IN wal particle will not change it's velocity
    moving solids O_o
