Multiplayer Forum?

I didn't know where else to put this.
Anyways, with the popularity of Jacob1's mod and the related multiplayer script for TPT (by cracker64) I think there should be a multiplayer forum of sorts for people to post their private servers as communication to the other people they're working with (They could name it something so they don't have to put up the IP) and also so n00bs don't get driven off when they see how advanced some users' creations are; they could host their own little private servers with other n00bs.
^ Just a suggestion.
If a MP forum doesn't get created, well, then I suppose this could be a discussion and communication thread for your servers.
Finally, I will move this thread to a different forum if a mod tells me to.

you can make a private room while in multiplayer. /join <roomname> will make the room and put you in it. Other players who then do /join <roomname> will enter your room. set up the room name in advance via Private Message so your people know where to go.

Well, that's good to know, but, I was considering a forum where new/inexperienced players could easily join up to do their own projects.
Moderated, obviously.
As convenient as PMing people is for rooms, I think it'd just be more convenient for people to be able to quickly join a 'public' room to work together on shiz.

I think it would be easiest to use the official server for everything. Using /join basically the same thing as a private server, you can even type /private to prevent anyone from joining except people you /invite. And the next version of tptmp will have slightly less terrible moderation and some new mod commands.
I think tptmp would need to grow more if we wanted to have a subforum for it. Probably it would need to be included in the official version. Right now there aren't enough users to justify splitting the lobby. Usually people play in the lobby, sometimes going into separate rooms if there are more than a few players in the lobby, but it doesn't always happen.
I still do strongly encourage people to plan tptmp sessions and play together, it can be fun. Just think of a room name and PM it beforehand, or just join and use /msg to message someone the room name. -
Alright, thanks jacob. I suppose you're right, but I know nobody that is interested in TPT to set up a room (but hey, might as well practice).

TPTMP seems like a more ad-hoc thing, rather than setting up a server you just get a bunch of people together and put them in aboxroom :D
