Lightning attraction

I made a tower with a lightning rod, but neither THDR nor LIGH are attracted to conductors. Maybe add that, for realism?

LIGH used to do this, and this caused much of its lag. Then we discovered that the function to connect to the nearest conductor was completely broken and just disabled it to reduce lag. Maybe if a better function is added I could add it back, and an idea to reduce lag is to only allow LIGH to do the searching a few times per frame, to prevent massive amounts of LIGH causing lag.

Xetalim, Great idea! Even if it causes lag, its optional! Also, its hard to make massive amounts of lightning without CLNE, and its your fault if you did that in the first place.

Lightning isn't attracted to metal. It's a common myth among people that lightning will strike towards metal. Let us think of it this way, it's a good think it doesn't because house gutters, wires, etc would be a danger to us all.

Real life lightning is attracted to the closest and easiest path to earth, which is usually a metal lightning rod or tree . So, in my opinion, TPT LIGH should be attracted to METL. Just warn people in LIGH's description to use it very sparingly. And maybe have an option for it, like @Zebragoboom suggested.

I know it doesn't do it at the moment, however, i think that it could be implemented, or reimplemented if what jacob1 says is right.

EDIT: Thought you were talking about TPT, but i know it doesnt go towards metals and conductors exclusively. Lightning will go to the closest object to it, like a tree, or a metal lightning rod on the top of a tower. In TPT, i personally think that it should go to the closest conductor within a set range, just because of how the game works.
