Anti-Spark

I got this idea from a T.V. show. Particles that stop electricity. This would be some sort of powder that absorbs spark. It would stick to any conductor (cling to sides and bottom) and absorb the spark where it touches. INST would simply not function. Also, it does not damage the conductor in any way, unlike EMP. I don't know if they should be indestructable or not.

    STATS:

    name: ASPK

    color: sky blue

    spawn temp: 22C

    description: sticky powder. removes electricity

special: can be programmed with a target conductor by ctype, does not automatically obtain any ctype

EDIT: range set by tmp (pixals away from center)

    USES:

-stray spark control, to prevent spark from destroying conductive saves (like my Titanic)

-control spark in electronics (with ctype)

    -funnier than EMP

    UNKNOWNS:

Should it work on things like water and mercury?

    EDIT: Density?

    OTHER:

-would not work on obscure things like walls and conducting quartz

umm..i don't see much difference between this and insl except this is powder...

I think that this powder could come to be very useful.

graymatter...no, no, no...not block spark between conductors. Stop spark through a single conductor.

Use portal in without a portal out channel. It will absorb sprk within a certain radius.

That only works on plain metal, is solid, and sucks (literally). Not the best idea. (especially if you're already using portals) But I'll use it to make the demo realistic.

hmm... sounds pretty useful, this could work with piston to make auto-stop devices, the piston has a battery, ASPK particle, and a wifi transmitter. when the piston moves, if it comes into a 1 pixel range of a conductor, the battery conducts to the wire(or whatever it is) and transmitts a signal to stop the piston

hmm....okay but still, just put a insl between the wires to get the same effect?

He isn't talking about insl. It's an element that instead of not letting sparks pass, totally disables a conductor's ability to let sparks through.

okay fine but except as a substitute for emp the other uses are the same as insl's..
