Just like the regular property edit, there could be properties for the simulation. This may be more of a long term thing of multiple developers, since it sounds pretty difficult. It would be useful for different constants like gravity and more.
There are already a selection of different simulation options, like gravity modes, different air modes and more. Alter these settings in the simulation options (little check at the bottom right).
If you mean changing things like the general gravity value. I'm not sure that is possible because all elements have their own gravity values.
Yes, but, there isn't very many controls for the simulation. You can change the gravity, air and only a couple of more things. It would be useful for different types of mods. Plus by the way, each element has it's own weight. Not gravity value.
@jmeyer2k(View Post) Oh they are weight attributes? I suppose that changes alot, this should make it applicable. I'll wait for someone with more knowledge on the topic to post.
Something that always sounded interesting to me was an expanded options menu (and help text for many things too, sort of related). So, when you click options, there are different submenus, and many more things can be changed than before. Extra simulation options would come with this. For gravity, everything does have their own weight and gravity, but a general "multiply by x" would work where you can change x.
Options I know I want now are heat display options (one where you change which temps the min and max heat colors are displayed, maybe an automatic mode too where dark blue shows where the coldest spot is and pink where the hottest spot is. Also an option to set the default ambient heat temp. Both of those are things in my mod that are nice.
Edit: maybe even making lua commands to add options might be nice.
