Something like EDIT would be cool. I thought there was a more popular thread than that one though ... but it does give me the idea of making EDIT like INVS. I think for similar reasons this also isn't being added? But this i'm not sure. I have something that can do things like it in my mod.

Chlorine got Lockheedmartin's approval, but wasn't ever added... so maybe, it has some uses. The only thing is that now SPNG can be used as a filter, but I do like that kind of filter better.

No, it's entirely possible. It's just that for the reasons jacksonmj gave in that thread, they just don't want it. I have it in the TODO list for my mod though, I will make it for that.
