It's perfectly possible, just it would be an annoying pretzel to code into the game. We would need another layer on top of air heat, gravity, velocity and pressure already to produce boundaries ...

The idea is, it takes CLST element which is clay dust, mixes with water until paste is made, heats the paste into lava, and then it cools into bricks. :D
