    @Tone121, this would be a reflector telescope, a Newtonian reflecting telescope. However, the eyepiece is usually not in the very back of the tube; that is where the parabolic primary mirror resides. It reflects light to the secondary mirror, which hence bounces light up into the eyepiece, enabling one to view an object. Pardon my lengthy explanation.
