    Ok, were good, still have power somehow... Irene is currently pummeling New York at a lowered Tropical Storm status, rainfall continiues to exceed 5 inches in severe areas.

    The storm center is currently 255 miles SSW of NYC.

    NJ storm surge has reached as much as 20 feet.

    Ocean City NJ is up next, the eye wall will be there in a few hours. Current wind speeds are at 30-40 mph.
