This is a WIP of my attempt of the most realistic engine possible in tpt. If you have any feedback please tell me. (Note: only spark the start button once) I am not good with electical components so the ecu could probably be made a lot smaller and faster

    @AerospaceFan I have now discovered that when the engine is running richer there was a chance of backfire, but i think i fixed it with a catalytic converter and some other changes with the insulation.

    I have never had a backfire with this engine. I will try and fix it could you describe the problem a little more thoroughly?

    the fire remains and burns off the fuel while its coming into the engin

    I've been writing a response on reddit with all the solutions I know, then remembered you gave the save id. None of my solutions would work as I don't even see the problem (probably didn't run it for long enough). The only explanation I have is that it's really a bug.

    There is currently a bug where the bottom of the engine head can still get pulled down by the piston even though it's covered in the pistons C-type. I have reported this and hope to get it fixed.
