NEREUS MK1 is a preheat-breeder cycle semi-destroyable fusion drive. It runs on only water, and can function in reactor-only mode. Water is used as fuel as well as reaction mass - exhaust is composed of superheated steam and fusion waste products.

    OXYG exhaust is intended to be used as a tank autogenous pressurization, the exhaust gases in reactor- onlymode could be routed to a generator of sorts in a real spacecraft.
