    Connecting the rods to the boiler tubes would result in overpressure. but ill figure out on some upgrades to this

    i see. counterpoint: use something that doesn't conduct heat as well, or even conect the metal rods to the water pipes for more heat.

    The purpose of those flame tubes are to ensure the flame doesnt spiral out of control
