Titan is very much colder than Mercury, which makes its atmosphere desnser and less fluid (the particles move slower) and therefore less prone to escape. And as mentioned, it also experiences MUCH less solar wind than Mercury
maybe mercury could support some super heavy gas atmosphere
pretty sure titan only supports its atmosphere due to saturn's magnetic field but still it's just some nice art so don't overthink it
