    I would rather rename that thing to cheaper dreadnought. it could be used in melee against large biological stuff wich cant shoot up the belted ammo.

    the riveted armor is because lots of infrastructure (eg. bridges, support beams etc.) are made out riveted steel. its more easy to produce with less advanced facilities. (i think)
