This "incident" happens 4 months before war breaks out in the world...

This beam fires. 3 tracking satellites track the site's temperature. It peaks at around 3000C. all that remains is a crater of melted sand and manged remains. The Irani and Chinese governments blame the incident on a faulty grenade blowing up the gas reserves under the town. The public believes that the Irani government assassinated these individuals. Nothing much is thought of the incident. Even if about 7 Russian and Chinese satellites "expire".
