part 2: ISOZ is high reward with low risk as the INSL prevents photons from burning while still giving lots of power. DEUT is the standard fuel, put a few PROT/NEUT in the reactor and add some DEUT, power! URAN is varyingly dangerous depending on the pressure, often for me it destroys the WATR tank. PLUT like a much more dangerous URAN that combines URAN and DEUT into one element.

Here's my rating of useable fuels: POLO is good for long term benefits as it is slow infinite heat production and unlikely to cause a meltdown if placed slowly. VIBR is the most likely to cause a meltdown and is unlikely to produce large amounts of power due to how it is a one-time use. EXOT is volatile and one too many electrons could cause the reactor to be torn apart but it is worth the risk as it produces a good amount of power.

And pretty much anything in the radioactive section have power siphoned from it

previous comment but readable: OXYG to cool down TUNG, INSL to protect TUNG from NEUT, Shorter distance between WATR storage and reactor, and more energy storage.
