    I replaced all the URAN with PLUT and the explosion was alot better. I wish URAN could explode though, I was sad when I tried to make a little boy and it didn't work

    the "deut pop" is called the Urchin. its made of beryllium and polonium. when compressed by the explosives they mix and emit lots of neutrons, kickstarting the reaction.

    This is excactly how the bomb worked, the uranium damper is to shield neutrons and bounce them back at the core.
