The best way I can think of to build a genuinely unbiased randomizer would be, use CRAY to spawn a single photon at a distance, then detect which one of 8 surrounding objects it hits (PSCN/NSCN solar panels, placed so it takes a couple of frames to reach them and so they can't spark each other)
You can avoid that in a couple of ways, but there isn't much in this game that CAN'T be affected by particle order
