    The spelling is wrong, but it's current name isn't completely wrong, it's named a thermalmeter which is a name obviously comprised from two words Thermal, and Meter. Thermal: meaning relate to heat, and Meter: meaning to meassure. from the two words Thermal,and Meter we can make the asumption that it's name indicates it either meassures heat or meassures something related to heat. @C2H6S Don't feel bothered by you Thermalmeter's name i feel it acctualy stands out because of it.
