i did the experient and it really depends on the temperature of the salt mainly because it has to be hot enough to separate the oxygen and hydrogen but to also separate chlorine from sodium (i think) but yeah we all saw the backyardscientist do it uwu its quite nice to make a bomb from heat and something we eat everyday -
