  You are building roads, making a mail system with birds and are exploring and mapping out surrounding territories, you are making advanced materials and goods and making chariots, you are making windmills, you do not have printing presses, you are working on clear glass and are making navigational tools and improving harnesses for domestcated animals, you have not yet invented theodolites.

  You are domesticating and selectively breeding animals, you are using salt for preservation and making ice houses, you are also making better climbing gear. You are using copper or clay plumbing in constructions and planning new cities and making proper sewers, you are making new ships with some heavy weapons on them, you have also built a port.

  You are starting work on mechanical devices and you are experimenting with steam and you are making siege equipment. You are working on incendiaries and distilling alchohol as fuel, you are improving blast furnaces and you are making water-powered trip hammers.

  You are creating bows and crossbows and are making regular military training mandatory, but service is optional excluding in emergencies, you are training people in heavy formation work and guerilla warfare and working on better tempering techniques (Again, you have not yet invented steel) you are forming departments dor this and you are funding them.

  You are funding researchers and scientists and building academies and departments to speed up scientific efforts, you are working on infrastructure projects and you are working on better masonry and construction, you are making guilds for major trades and having the best guilds work with the departments.

  @Loiosh42 you have set up a school system to raise literacy. You have implemented crop rotation, you are working on better plow designs and you are fertilizing your plants, most farms are now owned by independent landowners who are members of guilds. You are mining for metals like iron and you are improving casting techniques. (Steel making hasn't been inveneted in your nation yet, you would need to research that first to improve it)
