  Try to find ways to mine stone faster, e.g: explosives, and tame large animals like horses to transport resources easier. Work on ways to reinforce stone and research cement that can be produced cheaply. Make a govenment funded pay for builders as well as their original pay so more people are attracted to the business, and encourage people to create large building businesses instead of working solo. Create stone roads around the nation for better transport and organisation.

  Begin scouring the nation for gifted children, educate them to be researchers. Increase the size and funding of our research facilities. Build a science district within the capital. Here all research is to be centralized. Provide massive rewards to any group that develops a new technology. Research gunpowder. Set aside the most fertile lands for farming.   Keep on working on creating better and more effective forges and furnaces. Work on creating more and better tools for woodworking, forging and farming. Work on improving housing density in the cities and improving the quality of life. Expand mines in output, depth and size. Work on opening up surface quarries which will utilize gunpowder kegs for demolition.

  Once gunpowder weaponry has been researched, work on rifling technology and start training soldiers on how to use it. Create a new class of ship meant for long duration voyages which will be armed with a minimum of 40 cannons. Work on creating gunpowder bombs encased in a thin sheet of iron to be used as grenades.

  Start building a large stone wall between the mountain edges. Start many quarries along the mountain for stone and gravel, make houses out of stone instead of what i was using before, but use thin wooden boards as insulation. create walls around cities, create bunkers in cities that can be used by citizens in emergencies. Work on mountaineering eqipment to cross the mountains, and work on creating lenses for telescopes.

  Begin required military service for one year for all people once they reach 16. Invent the Umbrella. Research ways of mass producing jute textiles using machinery. Look for silk. Begin mixing Jute with other fabrics to create a wider array of textures. Establish a large library within the capital. Begin looking into a way of making plastics without using crude oils. Begin improving our mines so they can dig deeper and faster. Establish temples in every settlement.

Start selective breeding for plants and animals, research better farm equipment, for more efficient farming. Find the most rich deposits of minerals and put mining towns around those specifically, and make large markets to try to help build up trade and economy. research stronger fabrics for longer lasting and more protective clothes.

  Research gunpowder, lenses, basic electrics, mechanical systems (gears, belts, chains, pulleys, machines driven by these things. Research basic steam power, and better, stronger, reinforced buildings (more modern buildings and architecture, more practical architecture, less decorative.) If not already done, research sails, if already done, research better and stronger sails.

Be open to suggestions made by soldiers, like other weapon improvements and other possibilities if they make sense. Routinely rotate troop positions, and make monthly stops in civilian areas to improve morale.
