i removed it because it would make a noticable fps drop. i could make a seperate save with it as a accessory, then just link that save here. as for the tron im not sure. maybe in the future

i actually tried that in a project awhile back but forgot about it. instead of detecting distance. it would pickup the rgb of its surroundings. distance sounds alot more useful though.

i wonder how practical it is to implement some kind of radar/lidar/echolocation-like system using energy particles so it doesn't need to DTEC a specific type of particle to avoid walls; you could probably do what bats IRL do and emit for a split-second and then wait for it to come back
