    Then its a half track. like the Flak Bus 8.8, and the Wehrmacht Kfz. 251, only its not a set of shoes. no its missing one. but your not wrong. a wheel or 2 would compensate the lack of steering tracks normally provide.

    all in all, the end design would be too unreliable and i havent even listed half of the design requirements.

    because of the Hull being situated above the tracks and not in between them, Room is greatly diminished and forces the design to be higher profile. because of the fact the tank is high and narrow the gun has to be either smaller caliber or to be static (no turret) or a 90 or 180 degree shot will tip the tank over from the recoil.

    ive done quite a lot of research on the single tracked concept. It is possible but its also very unrealiable. there still needs to be 2 tracks or it cant rotate. the Tracks need to be wide and the Hull (and turret) needs be be light and more lower profile or the Tonk will tip.
