    Both of you are right though, this map shows areas of "full" control, and there are battles elsewhere (especially where the thin lines go). Asserting permanent domanance over the population is a separate process. They've already started, for example by replacing the mayor of Melitopol, they wouldn't be able to do that without full control.

    Not necessarily "full" control. Establishing total control over a area that is opposed to you is a difficult, long and convoluted process that Russia can not undertake currently

    @jacob1 map with marked territories where battles are going is more dynamic and it cover bigger territories, here we can see territories under full control only.

    I got a report the discussion was too heated, I'm not going to ignore it. While this save is for discussing the war in Ukraine, it's not meant for such heated discussion between Russians and Ukrainians.
