    @Waffleman22 while mining you have discovered a tin and copper deposit, many people are selling the resources for large amounts of money while some suggest it could be used as a new currency, aside from that some people made an expedition out to the southern seas in the hopes of finding more land to settle, at the time they were expected to return they did not, leading everyone to believe they drowned.
